In memory databases?

Oracle and IBM, all have in-memory databases. Sybase is due to rlease this week and has made theirs completely compatible with other versions of Sybase ASE. No separate API calls are needed from an application using the in-memory version as opposed to the traditional version. What will Miicrosoft do?
